Hi Everyone,
We’re figuring out how to organize the content here, so I’ll start a new topic here with updates made to TLEs based on observations submitted today.
New observations have been incorporated to TLEs for the following objects:
This is less than the number of new object observations received, and I’ll explain why that it at a future time (hint - it’s partly a bug in our early prototype).
You can visit those pages and look at the OBSERVATIONS tab to see the specific observations which contributed the the latest TLE, and how they fit.
The HISTORY tab will show you those recent observations and the complete history we have in the database.
And if you happened to submit observations for that object yourself, “MY OBSERVATION” will show you the history for the object. Note that at the bottom of each of these views you can follow the links for more history.
You’ll note that some fields have more detail if you “mouse-over” them, and some fields (like username) are links to look at data grouped by that data item.
You can download updated TLEs for these objects but clicking on the “Download Prediction” button on each object - for a single TLE - or go to the Catalog->ALL view to download the current set. We anticipate adding more groups (like Celestrak Categories) in the near future, and possibly the ability to make your own groups.
I’ll keep posting updates here until we have a better summary on the site. Please give us your feedback for what you’d like to see, and what might not be clear from our initial design.
