Mission idea

So I honestly don’t know why I didn’t think of this a long time ago…

I’ve been taking tons of remote images, finding satellites on them and uploading my observations. That’s great but it doesn’t really add anyting for the community, besides the observations.

if anybody would like recent or upcoming images from me, please let me know and I will share a Dropbox or Google drive with you with .fits files in it.

It doesn’t matter to me how you measure the satellite positions; I happen to use astronomica which is pretty common, but if you have another method of course that would be great.

If you don’t know how to measure satellite tracks on images, that’s okay. I’m sure if you have any questions that either others on this forum or myself can assist you.

Let me know,

Brad

I would like to know more about your workflow, is “astronomica” an application? A web site?

The observing season is almost done here on the US Gulf Coast, I might analyze some of your images.
